On a Rainy day

Given the fact I like the rain so much, I was surprised at myself that I haven't written about it in my blog yet. So here's a song dedicated to THE RAIN:

At last the school bell rings,
To end a hot 'n' sunny day
I start my bicycle home,
Alone as well today!

The clouds hovering over,
Murmur about a storm
I look upto see their gathering,
In the sky that's no more calm

The breeze has turned to gusts
Of wind that seem to play
With the leaves on the trees,
That toss 'n' turn 'n' sway

I watch the clouds above me,
Looking all gloomy and gray
Oh! the rain drops falling,
Tell that, they're on the way

I ride along excited,
Looking up, now and again
Rain drops fall on my face,
Ask me, not to hasten in vain

So, I cycle slowly,
Making sure I dip the wheels
On every pool 'n' puddle,
That splatters to says it yields

Someone asks me, on the way
"Forgot ur umbrella dear"?
The pity in her voice
Makes me smile at her fear

I might catch a cold
or fever, but that's not bad,
I pity her more, thinking
She missed what I had

Came home, drenched and tired,
Smiling all the time :)
Thank God no one's at home
I can surely hide the crime ;)

God's love is like the rain,
Showering on everything
But People whine and worry,
Without understanding him!
