Its been little over a year since I have Jesai in my life. To be a mother, has been one of the most transforming event of my life. Just to think of him sends millions of sparks of joy within me and it surprises me that I can wake whole night just to watch him sleep in my lap.

Through those sleepless nights and joyous lights these are the words that come to my mind when I see him :)

Tips for spinsters

After almost three years of gap, its time to start blogging again! So, why not start where I left it. I had drafted this post when I was a spinster and thought of posting once I get married. Wondering why??

For all these years of curious queries about my Marital status I did really have something to say to people who ask me about it. Hope it will help someone in need :)

He: Are you married?
Me: Why do u wanna know? If else, would you get me married off??

In a friend's marriage,
He: When are you getting married?
Me:(pointing to the groom) Soon after he comes down, am gonna drag some guy around here and forcefully make him tie the knot!

He: So when are your wedding bells ringing?
Me: Guess it has gone for repair. Will let you know once its fixed.

He: When is your marriage?
Me: I dunno.
He: Come on. You can tell me.
Me: Actually am not pretty sure of the dates, coz one fine day I might plan to run away to get married and might not have time to tell you.

She: When are you getting married?
Me: (Some random date)
She: Really? You didn't tell me before.
Me: Actually I thought of it just now. How could I have told you before?

He: Are you married?
Me: Yeah, have two kids too.
He: And what are they doing?
Me:(Pointing to some colleagues roaming around) They work with me here. Really I don't look that old. Do I?

At the dentist for pain of wisdom tooth,
Doc: (Looking at my age and thinking aloud) You should have got it at the age of 14-18
Me: (Laughing to myself) I guess everything happens really late in my life doc :P
